Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday slammed the Congress leaders for making derogatory remarks on Telangana.

Addressing a meeting at LB Nagar, KCR said that the Congress leaders were repeatedly trying to insult the people of Telangana by making offensive remarks time and again. Referring to the "Dosa" remarks of Vayalar Ravi, he said that the Union Minister deliberately made the remarks to provoke the Telangana sentiments.

The TRS president also demanded that women should be given an equal and fair opportunity in the employment in the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. He also alleged regional discrimination in the recruitment process in the RTC.

Condemning the contract system in the corporation, he said that a case should be filed against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for implementing the same. He also announced that the TRS would regularise the contract workers after the formation of Telangana State.
