The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee on Saturday categorically stated that it would not allow Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu's "Vastunna Mee Kosam" padayatra in the region.

Talking to reporters here, Tpjac chairman Prof M Kodandaram said that Naidu would not be allowed to undertake the padayatra unless he clarifies his stand on the Telangana issue. He even accused the TDP chief of creating confusion by writing a letter to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on the issue. He said Naidu's letter, in no way, clarified the party's stand on the statehood issue.

Therefore, Prof Kodandaram said that the TDP chief should make a clear statement on the Telangana issue before entering the Telangana region for his padayatra.
