The Telugu Desam Party on Tuesday hailed the Supreme Court orders of dismissing the petition of YSRCP honorary president YS Vijayamma seeking CBI probe into disproportionate assets of Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu.

Talking to reporters at NTR Trust Bhavan here, TDP polit-bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that the YSRCP has totally failed to produce any substantial evidence against Naidu and all the chargers have been proved as baseless allegations. Responding to the YSRCP claim that the court has not given the 'clean chit' to Naidu from the investigations, he said that there was no such word in the legal terminology.

Ramakrishnudu described the Supreme Court's verdict as a slap on the face of YSRCP. Stating that the YSRCP has been leveling false charges against Naidu in order to get political mileage and to tarnish the image of Naidu, he reminded that former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy also did the same thing. The TDP leader said that the people of State would teach a fitting lesson to YSRCP if Vijayamma continues to level such baseless charges against Naidu.

TDP spokesperson Revanth Reddy was also present in the press conference.
