Vijayamma's Deeksha aimed at diluting 'T' agitation: Yashki

Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud on Monday alleged that YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijayamma observed Maha Deeksha for the cause of weavers in order to disturb the law and order situation in the Telangana region.

Talking to media persons, he came down heavily on Vijayamma for observing the Deeksha at a time when the Centre was planning to take a decision on the Telangana State issue. He slammed the State Government for giving permission to stage Deeksha which disturbed the law and order situation in the region.

Suspecting the commitment of Vijayamma over the weavers’ issue, he accused her of playing 'political drama' to get mileage over their cause. He alleged that the weavers in the State were neglected during the stint of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Madhu Yaskhi also alleged that YSR Congress party and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy have colluded with each other to dilute the Telangana statehood agitation. He criticised the police for their 'high-handedness' during Vijayamma’s Deeksha and resorting to lathicharge students and Telangana leaders.
