Suspended Telugu Desam Party MLA from Gudivada Assembly constituency Kodali Nani on Sunday announced that he would contest on the YSR Congress Party ticket in 2014 elections.

Participating in a public meeting at SC Wada in Angaluru in Gudlavaleru mandal in Krishna district, Kodali Nani said that he had taken this decision after consulting his well wishers and supporters. He said that he has failed to fulfill the promises made to Guidivada Assembly Constituency people despite getting elected twice on the Telugu Desam ticket as it failed to wrest the power in the State. Stating that there was no bright future for the TDP in the State, he said that the people would not believe Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu’s cheap political gimmicks and promises.
