Vijayamma thanks voters for party's victory

Thanking the voters for reposing their faith on the Ysr Congress Party and electing its candidates in the by-elections with huge majority, Ysr Congress Party honorary president Y S Vijayamma on Friday said that the by-elections proved that both ruling Congress and Telugu Desam Party have lost moral right to continue in power. 

Talking to media persons at Lotus Pond after the announcement of results, Vijayamma said that she has received justice in the people’s court and the voters gave a clear mandate to YSR Congress while defeating the gimmicks and conspiracies of both the Congress and TDP.

The by-election results have proved that YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy was honest, she said and expressed confidence that Jagan would come out clean from the "baseless" charges levelled by the CBI.

She said that YSR Congress would not belie the people’s confidence and would intensify its fight against injustice meted to various sections of the people during the Congress rule after YSR's death. She said that the people voted for the party in 2009 elections based on performance of YSR and now they have reposed same confidence on their family members. 

Vijayamma said that YSR Congress candidates have lost from Ramachandrapuram and Narsapuram assembly constituencies as both Congress and TDP have influenced the voters using the money power.
