Anantapur, Oct 20: The Anantapur District Sessions Court  on Tuesday turned down the bail petition of Maddelacheruvu Suryanarayana alias Suri, who was one of the prime accused in the murder of Telugu Desam Party legislator from Penukonda in Anantapur town, Paritala Ravindra.Suri has sought the bail for undergoing treatment in Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) as he was facing several health problems. The court while admitting the bail petition of Suri, on Tuesday rejected his petition and stated that it would deliver its verdict in the month of December.The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed charge sheet against 13 accused persons for conspiracy, murder and other offences before the court of the Additional Judicial magistrate First class, Anantapur, in the Paritala Ravindra murder case.

Suri was one of the prime accused in the case.The investigation conducted by CBI revealed that Suri, a convict lodged in the Cheralapalli Jail hatched a criminal conspiracy with the help of 13 persons to eliminate Paritala Ravindra, whom accused Suryanarayana Reddy considered as responsible for the killings of his father G.Narayana Reddy, during the year 1983 and other family members, in a TV Bomb Blast, during the year 1993.In connection with the case, CBI officer Nandan Kumar also attended the court.
