Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy on Friday accused the YSR Congress leaders of banking on the sympathy votes in case Jagan Mohan Reddy gets arrested by the CBI.

Talking to media persons while participating in the by-election campaign in Chittoor district, Raghuveera Reddy stated that the YSR Congress leaders were wishing that Jagan's arrest by the CBI in order to get sympathy wave in favour of their party. He accused the YSR Congress leaders of conspiring to create law and order problem in the State capital. “Jagan's group has spread rumours over the arrest of Jagan to get benefit in the by-elections," he stated.

Stating that no one was above law, the Revenue Minister stated that the law would take its own course and would not spare anyone from the punishment. “Whoever commits mistakes, including the Ministers and IAS officials, will be punished as per law,” he said.
