Kishan Reddy said that the party would give tickets to educationists and intelligentsia people in the ensuing elections after considering their winning chances.

The BJP leader criticised Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao for opposing the Telangana state formation. “This has exposed the commitment of Congress over the separate Telangana State issue,” he said.

The BJP by moving Telangana private bill in the Rajya Sabha showed its commitment towards the formation of separate state, he stated. He reiterated that the BJP would form Telangana State if NDA comes to power in the ensuing general elections.

Kishan alleged that CBI was showing discriminatory attitude towards former BJP leader Bangaru Lakshman, who was indicted by the court on charges of taking bribe in connection with a fake arms deal. He asked as to why the CBI not showing similar spirit in arresting other Congress leaders, who were found involved in corruption.
