Naidu to make inflation an issue in by-polls

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said hat his party would highlight rampant corruption, rising prices of essential commodities and inefficiency of State Government in addressing people’s problems in the ensuing by-elections in the State.

Talking to media persons here during his two-day visit to North Andhra Pradesh, Naidu blamed both the Centre and State Government for skyrocketing prices of essential commodities. He alleged that both the governments totally failed to contain the rising prices of commodities and have been burdening the people through taxes and rising oil and power tariffs.

Naidu slammed the State Government for not redressing problems being faced by the people in the House and alleged that the governance in the State has come to a standstill.

Earlier, Naidu announced that Mudiyam Srinivas would contest on Tdp ticket from Polavaram Assembly constituency in the ensuing elections.
