CM expresses grief over Dev Anand's death

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday expressed grief at the death of veteran and evergreen Hindi film actor Dev Anand.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said that Dev Anand was most popular, charismatic and romantic superstar who acted in more than hundred films. He said that Devanand was the most flamboyant and a versatile actor.

Dev Anand has acted in some of the most memorable films such as ‘Guide’ “Jhonny Mera Naam” “Paying Guest” and “Hare Rama Hare Krishna”. His unique acting style and dialogue delivery were a rage during the 50s and 60s. For his outstanding contribution to the Hindi cinema, He was honoured with the prestigious Padmabhushan in 2001 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002. 

The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
