Telangana Rashtra Samithi Siricilla MLA K Tarakarama Rao on Saturday took serious note on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy expressing his inability to introduce a resolution on Telangana state in the Assembly.

Talking to media persons at Assembly's Media Point, Tarakarama Rao demanded that the Chief Minister withdraw his statement ruling out Telangana resolution in the House as it has hurt the sentiments of people in the region. He said the State Government should introduce a resolution in the House to prove its commitment towards the Telangana statehood issue and help the Union Government take an early decision on the issue.

The TRS MLA also appealed to Opposition Leader N Chandrababu Naidu to extend his support to the Telangana resolution on the lines of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawathi, who passed a resolution to divide her State into four parts. He also suspected the commitment of Naidu on moving the No Confidence Motion against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy Government.

With the Central Bureau of Investigation preparing to begin preliminary enquiry into his alleged illegal assets, he alleged that Naidu was enacting `political drama’ in the House through No Trust Motion by indirectly supporting the government.

Meanwhile, TRS Floor Leader Etela Rajender stated that his party would support the No Confidence Motion introduced by the TDP against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy Government as it has failed on all fronts. “Our main aim is to dethrone the government," he said.

Etela also expressed regrets for the Speaker not permitting discussion on the Telangana resolution since the beginning of session.
