Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Wednesday stated that the Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress have no strength to dethrone Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy government through no confidence motion.

Talking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Botsa Satyanarayana said that the Congress party has enough numbers to prove its majority in the assembly if the Telugu Desam Party moves no confidence motion against government in the winter session beginning from December 1. Welcoming the No Trust motion against the government on farmers’ issues, the PCC chief said that the discussion would help the farmers to understand under whose tenure they got genuine benefits.

Condemning TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for stating that his life was an open book, he asked Naidu to disclose which court has given him a clean chit from the corruption charges. He asked Naidu, who initially hailed CBI probe against his properties, as to why he has filed a vacate petition in the High Court against the probe. He advised Naidu to cooperate with probing agency officials and come out clean from all the charges. He also asked Naidu not to speak on moral values until the CBI gives clean chit to him.

Responding to a question on return of the Congress MLAs who switched loyalties towards YSR Congress, he said those MLAs should support the leadership of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and come to Gandhi Bhavan.
