KCR to re-visit Delhi on Oct 11

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday stated that he would visit New Delhi once again on October 11 to meet the Congress core committee members - Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Defence Minister A K Antony.

Talking to media persons before heading to Hyderabad, the Trs president said that he could not meet Pranab Mukherjee and A K Anthony due to their busy schedule. He said he would meet them on October 11 and brief them about the prevailing situation in the Telangana state and seriousness of employees general strike. He said that he would appeal core committee members to find an early solution to Telangana issue and put an end to uncertainty in the state.

When the reporters asked him about Pranab Mukherjee’s comments on Telangana, KCR refused to react saying that he would comment only after completely studying the statement. Earlier, talking to a private news channel Pranab Mukherjee described Telangana as a highly complex issue and said it was difficult to set a time frame for its solution.

Responding to another question, KCR said that he was yet to decide whether to bring Telangana Political Joint Action Committee members along with him on October 11 visit.
