JC ready to discuss Rayal Telangana

Former Minister and senior Congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy on Thursday reiterated that he was in favour of United Andhra Pradesh. However, he said he would abide the decision of Congress High Command on the issue of separate Telangana.

Talking to reporters, Diwakar Reddy said that the proposal of Rayal Telangana did not come either from the Centre or the High Command. However, he said the proposal could be discussed if officially proposed. He suggested that the state having both Tungabhadra and Krishna rivers would prosper and without these two major rivers, no state could be imagined.

Diwakar Reddy appealed that the Congress leaders must wait for the decision of the Congress High Command on the issue and abide by it.
