Telugu Desam party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday alleged that both the Centre and the State Government have failed to addressed the problems being faced by the common man.

Addressing party's state level meet at NTR Trust Bhavan, the Tdp chief alleged that the both the UPA Government at the Centre and Congress Government in the State was focussed on dealing with political issue than concentrating on people's welfare. He pointed out that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was not having cordial relations with his own cabinet colleagues since he took charge. “It is unfortunate that Cabinet Ministers are openly revolting against the Chief Minister’s decisions and condemning his decisions as unilateral,” Naidu said.

Naidu further said the Chief Minister has no command on his Cabinet and the gap between the cabinet ministers was widening every day due to lack of experience and coordination. Except levelling charges and counter charges, the ministers were not doing anything to redress people’s problems, Naidu said.

Though the 15 days general strike of Telangana employees has paralysed the administration, Naidu said that the Chief Minister has failed to resolve it. Despite people suffering due to general strike, both the Centre and State Government have not acted responsibly and taken any steps to resolve the Telangana issue, Naidu pointed out. “The time has come for Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to count his days,” he said.

Naidu said that his party would launch awareness drive 'Jana Chaitanya Yatra' from November 1 across the State to highlight the government’s failures. Responding to Telangana issue, he said that the party has already made its stand clear and Centre has to take final decision on the issue.

All Tdp leaders including mandal and district level in-charges participated in the meeting.
