“Quit before you are dumped,” advised senior YSR Congress Party leader Ambati Rambabu to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday.
Talking to media persons at his party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s residence at Sagar Society in Jubilee Hills, Mr Rambabu said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy should resign before he was dumped by All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi.
The staunch Jagan loyalist predicted that Congress president Sonia Gandhi will replace the chief Minister once the Kadapa and Pulivendula by-election results are out.
Expressing confidence that YSR Congress Party candidates, YS Jaganmohan Reddy and YS Vijayalakshmi will win comfortably in the by-elections, the former PCC secretary said it is better for the Chief Minister’s to save his face before Sonia acts against him once the election results are out.
He also questioned the 17 Ministers, who are campaigning for the Congress candidates in the run-up to the by-elections, whether they are ready to resign to their posts after the YSR Congress Party wins.
