Talking to media persons on Thursday, the CPI leader said that the political uncertainty and vacuum created by the sudden demise of chief minister YSR affected the relief and rescue operations taken up in the drought –hit areas. He said that the Congress leaders and Minister are giving different statements in the media instead of finding ways to solve the problems of the people.

Some vested interests have seized the opportunity to exploit the sympathy for YSR’s son Jaganmohan Reddy to further their agenda. The succession issue is an internal matter of the Congress. But, the governance of the State is at stake, he pointed out.He also appealed to the government to declare health emergency in the state as swine flu, dengue, chikungunya and viral fevers taking their toll in the state.

He said that the Congress leaders have no courtesy to call for an assembly session to pay homage to their late leader.

He told the Ministers to focus on finding ways to keep soaring prices of essential commodities under control. He alleged that the Ministers and officials were spending much of their time in discussing leadership issue ignoring peoples’ problems.
