A delegation of Telugu Desam Party MPs on Monday demanded that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh order a probe by the Enforcement Directorate into the alleged investment by former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy into the Jagathi Publications.

Senior party leader Mysoora Reddy, who led the MPs’ delegation, told media persons that the team had submitted a five-page memorandum to the Prime Minister.

Mr Mysoora Reddy alleged that Mr Jaganmohan Reddy has amassed thousands of crores of rupees illegally and has invested heavily into the Jagathi Publications.

He revealed that the TDP MPs, in their five-page memorandum, had appealed to the Prime Minister to order investigations to reveal the investors in Jagathi Publications. The probe should also cover Mr Jaganmohan Reddy’s investments in other companies in the state, the delegation urged.

Mr Mysoora Reddy revealed that the Prime Minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and their appeal and responded positively to the probe.

The senior leader reminded that the TDP has been fighting for probes into Mr Jaganmohan Reddy’s illegal wealth since the past many years.

Mr Mysoora Reddy stated that the TDP was not afraid of Mr Jaganmohan Reddy’s newly launched `YSR Congress party’.

Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao stated that prime minister had earlier promised to order IT department probe into the former MP’s illegal assets.
