Hyderabad, Sept 19 :

 Minister for Medical and Health, Danam Nagender, made it clear that there is no let-up in the State Government’s efforts to prevent and control the H1N1 flu and that there is no need for any panic.

Talking to media persons on Saturday, the Minister asked the officials to spare no efforts and see that the Swine Flu is prevented.He said that the government has taken all steps for early detection and treatment of the disease.

He said that the Swine Flu is spreading in the state due to negligence of other states in taking preventive steps. The officials should always be on the alert and take all measures to see that there is no let-up in the drive against the Swine Flu in the State, he added.

He said awareness should be created among the people that early symptoms should be identified and immediate check-ups should be done to identify the Swine Flu. He said funds are not a problem and asked the Health department to re-appropriate funds if needed and ask for any additional funds as and when required.

He said that all the Ministers are working in coherent and coordinated manner with Chief Minister K Rosaiah. He alleged that a report appeared in a Mailtoday, Delhi edition ‘Deaths for YSR shock are fake’ is planned to tarnish the image of late chief minister’s son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy politically. He questioned the credibility of the report published in Mailtoday.
