Political parties are crying hoarse over the alleged report sent by Mr Narasimhan in which he is believed to have recommended that President’s Rule could be imposed in the state following the submission of the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee Report.

When Mr Raghavulu was asked to comment on the issue, he said the Governor was misleading the Centre by sending fake reports on the situation.

He added that despite the state remaining peaceful after the submission of Justice Srikrishna Committee Report to the Centre, a section people are spreading rumours that the law and order situation in the state has deteriorated.

The CPM leader urged the Centre to make its stand clear on bifurcation of state and take a favourable decision on Srikrishna Commission Report. He said the inordinate delay on announcing a decision on the bifurcation of state would increase law and order problem.

The CPM is against the bifurcation of the state.
