All India Congress Committee general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi on Wednesday stated that the High command has not asked Chief Minister K Rosaiah to submit his resignation to the post.
Talking to media persons, Mr Dwivedi stated that the Chief Minister had come to New Delhi on Tuesday to brief the High Command over the latest political situation in the state.
The Congress president Sonia Gandhi has not sought his resignation from the Chief Minister’s post, Mr Dwivedi stated.
The statement by AICC general secretary assumes importance in the wake of reports coming in that Mr Rosaiah submitted his resignation to the post following the directions of High Command.
