City Police Commissioner PSR Anjaneyulu on Friday stated that Maddelacheruvu Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri and Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy’s son Karthik Reddy are no way connected to the property dispute between Syam Prasad and Krishna Prasad, sons of Subhash Chandra Bose, owner of Annapurna Packagings, located in Vijayawada City.

Talking to media persons, Mr Anjaneyulu stated that since the issue was a private property dispute, the police are not empowered to interfere. Mr Anjaneyulu’s statement comes in the wake of rumours that Suri and Karthika Reddy have been indulging in dispute settlements in the city.

The commissioner said the dispute arose mainly due to differences between the brothers Syam Prasad and Krishna Prasad over sharing of property between themselves. He said the department would initiate action against company owners if they indulge in anything unlawful.

According to reports, Suri and Karthika Reddy entered the scene at the behest of Krishna Prasad. About 30 members of these batches reached Vijayawada and threatened the company staff not to obey orders given by Mr Bose and Syam Prasad. They have also warned Radha Krishna, a manager in the factory of serious consequences if he did not obey their words.

The duo are alleged to have attempted to try and transfer 98 percent of share of the company into Krishna Prasad’s hands by appointing their associates as directors in the company.
