Congress leaders calls for talks with Pak, rubbish Hindus singled out in Pahalgam Attack. The deadly attack by the Islamic terrorists in Pahalgam, Kashmir singling out Hindu tourists sent shockwaves across the nation. Everyone knows how terrorists asked people to identify their religion, recite Kalma and even stripped their pants to check whether they are Muslims or not before shooting them down in point-blank range.
Even as the family members of the victims recollect their horror stories, Congress leaders and other opposition parties, rubbish their claims that terrorists singled out Hindus and even called for talks with the Pakistan government. People of the country are furious and they are saying that anti national opposition parties are vying for Nishan-e-Pakistan from the neighbouring nation.
It started with Robert Vadra. He said "When this terrorist act took place, they [terrorists] were looking at IDs, people who were non-Muslims were attacked and messages were given to the Prime Minister. Why is this happening? Because, they are feeling that Muslims are being mistreated in our country,"
Later Karnatatka CM Siddharamaiah said ‘No need for war, PM Modi fooling people’ Echoing the same feelings, Karnataka minister RB Timmapur, insulted the families of the victims, saying "A man who is shooting, will he ask caste or religion? He will just shoot and go. Think practically. He will not stand there, ask and then shoot,” He went on to add “I feel they didn't ask about religion when they were carrying out the terror attack. In case they did, there shouldn't be this madness of using such a statement to politicise the issue based on religion,"
Another Congress leader from Maharashtra, Vijay Wadettiwar said “The government should take responsibility for the Pahalgam Terrorist Attack. They (the government) are saying that terrorists killed people after asking them (about their religion). Do terrorists have time for all this?... Some people say that this did not happen. Terrorists have no caste or religion. Catch those who are responsible and take action. This is the sentiment of the country,”
Even J and K congress chief asked the Indian government to talk with the Pakistan government after the Pahalgam Attack.
