Special Public Prosecutor for the Cbi K Surendra on Monday completed his arguments on the charged to be framed against the ten accused in the multi-crore accounting fraud in Satyam Computers, before the XXI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate

Mr Surendra had begun his arguments last week where he produced important document and critical evidences before the Court to substantiate the CBI’s charges that the ten accused were involved in the accounting fraud.

The Special Public Prosecutor beseeched the Court to dismiss the discharge petitions filed by prime accused in the case, founder and former chairman of Satyam Computers B Ramalinga Raju and nine other others. He accused the ten of falsifying records and fabricating documents to conspire against the investors of the company. The three charge-sheets filed by the CBI accuse the ten of criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery and falsification of accounts of the company.

The hearing in the case was adjourned to September 15 to enable the defence lawyers to present its case before Magistrate BVLN Chakravarthi orders the framing of charges in the case.

Justice Chakravarthi ordered Mr Surendra to give the gist of his arguments to the defence team to help it prepare its arguments.
