Irked over false  report carried out  by a vernacular  daily on  Friday,  Governor,  E.s.l. Narasimhan, has expressed his unhappiness the way in which the story was planted. According to  sources the  news report carried by a vernacular daily on Friday  said that during his meetings with the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, the UPA Chairperson, Mrs Sonia Gandhi, and the home minister,  P. Chidambaram, in New Delhi on Thursday, the Governor had submitted a report suggesting that the Hyderabad Metropolitan area should be made an Union Territory in the event of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. 

Talking to this correspondent from New Delhi, Narasimhan said, “The news report carried by a Telugu daily today is 200 per cent false and unadulterated rubbish. It is a totally wrong and malicious report. I never submitted any report on such proposals.”
