Satyanarayana to assume office in two or three days

With a view to hold the sanctity of the temple,  the  State government appointed a senior IAS officer,  J Satyanarayana, as the Chairman of the Specified Authority of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.

Addressing the media here on Wednesday, Satyanarayana said that he would take  charge of the new office in two or three days.

It’s  a God  sent opportunity,  I am  very happy for being appointed for Ttd post as very rarely  we get the  opportunity of serving Sri Venkateshwara and His devotees.  I  feel that I got the sacred post due to some good deeds committed  by me in my  previous life.

 Satyanarayana observed  that he would discharge his functions properly with utmost responsibility and see that the devotees are not put to any inconvenience and hardship during their pilgrimage to the sacred Seven Hills.

Responding to a question, Mr Satyanarayana said that it was not proper to talk about the functioning of the Ttd Trust Board.
