Natu Natu Wins The Best Original Song At Golden Globe

No one would have thought even in their wildest dreams that when Natu Natu, a regional folk song from RRR was released could make it to the international prestigious award stage. But, Natu Natu achieved it, made us all proud. RRR is nominated in two categories for prestigious Golden Globe Awards 2023 , Best Original Song for Natu Natu and Best Motion Picture (Non-English Language). 

The award show is extraordinary for the Indian film industry this year as SS Rajamouli’s epic action drama RRR is in the running to collect top honours alongside Top Gun, Avatar sequel, The Fabelmans, and more.

RRR’s Natu Natu, created by MM Keeravani, Chandra Bose, Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, is pitted against the likes of Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and more. The other tracks that are nominated for the Best Original Song category include top pop singers and big Hollywood celebrities. Finally, at the award ceremony the song has been announced as The Best Original Song. SS Rajamouli, NTR, Ram Charan and the entire RRR team attended the event and they cheered with a standing ovation while MM Keeravani recieved the award.

Natu Natu was also shortlisted for the Oscars 2023 under the Original Song category. The Academy announced the shortlisted candidates for 10 categories, and it included Natu Natu.
