Thalaivar 169: Rajinikanth's next locked

Speculation over Rajinikanth's next project has been doing rounds for quite some time. According to the latest, the project was announced on social media much to the delight of all his fans. As expected, the film will be directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. KS. Ravikumar will be assisting Nelson Dilip Kumar with the script work. 

The project's regular shoot will kickstart in July 2022 and the film stars Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female leads. Ramya Krishnan and Shivraj Kumar will be seen in important roles. The music for the film is scored by Anirudh Ravichander. 

The project is bankrolled in a prestigious manner on the Sun Pictures banner. Rajinikanth of late has been reeling under the string of flops with films like Kaala,2.0, Darbar, Petta,Annathe and is pinning all his hopes on this project. Nelson's previous venture Beast with Vijay bit the dust at the box office. However, the film broke many records in Kollywood.
