Maniratnam renamed as Modern Valmiki

We all know that Hindu epic Ramayana has been scripted by all time great Valmiki and this epic consists of life journey of Lord Sri Rama. Now, Maniratnam has tried to give a new and his own depiction of this Ramayana through his movie ‘Raavan’ which is released today.

Irrespctive of the talk for this movie in the market, Maniratnam, the creative genius has projected Villain Raavana in a positive angle which by every chance may ignite new fires in the religious organizations which majorly run on the tag of Hindutva. Already audience who doesn’t like the misinterpretation of our Hindu culture started to rename Maniratnam as Modern Valmiki who is rewriting the few episodes of Ramayana.

Well, on the other siode Maniratnam is not in a position to agree that ‘Raavan’ is a new dimension of Ramayana. Unfortunately audience are more intelligent than Mani and he should accept this. A basic point one should accept from Mani is that there will be a Ram inside every Raavan. What say folks…?
