Bollywood actress now a restaurateur

Actress Priyanka Chopra is conquering newer frontiers with greater confidence by the day.  Carving her niche in Hollywood as an actor and a producer, she recently released her memoir ‘Unfinished’, which was a bestseller soon after its launch. Now, her restaurant, Sona, is all set to open in New York later this month, she revealed in a social media post earlier today.

Priyanka posted, “I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef #HariNayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country. SONA is opening later this month, and I can’t wait to see you there!”

She had taken up the space for the restaurant in September 2019, when she performed a small intimate Puja before the launch. Priyanka, with her ambition and readiness to take up challenges always, is turning out to be an inspiration for many women from many walks of life. Her latest release was the Netflix show, The White Tiger, which she’d also co-produced.
