Bollywood top honcho director and producer Karan Johar’s name got dragged into nepotism row post the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.  Kangana Ranaut took the mantle in nepotism debate and accused Karan Johar for promoting nepotism. She hurled charges at Karan of only working with star-kids who went on to introduce Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor to name a few.

Nepotism controversy seems to have affected KJo as he took to social media making a big announcement.  He revealed that he would introduce 4 new talents and asked the netzens to stay tuned for a week everyday at 11am.

His statement raeds, “In this vast playground of Indian cinema, we have always aimed to support new talent for them to flourish, it's been actors, directors, technicians, artists in the musical field. With the same spirit at heart and goal in our minds, we are proud to be presenting 4 new talents who in the short span of time have garnered immense love and recognition from fans and industry alike with their work.”

He added, “The energy they bring on screen is electric and we can't wait to see these powerhouses in their elements. Shower them with unabashed love, welcome them with open hearts onto your screens and look forward to them steadily becoming the faces of the new generation with their talent. Netizens Hail Karan

Withe the big news, tweeple hailed Karan Johar for his move and suporting new talent. Apart from Hindi projects, Karan is backing Tollywood film Liger, a pan-India film starring Vijay Deverakonda who is foraying into Hindi cinema. The film has all the hype, thanks to Karan Johar and Ananya Panday.
