It is well aware that Ramgopal Varma is planning a film, based on the real life story of Paritala Ravi. The film is being made simultaneously in three languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The expectations on the film went up abnormally after the release of trailers recently. At the same time, backbiters also started a campaign against the release of the film, as Paritala Ravi, Maddelacheruvu Suri and others could have shown in a bad taste.

Though Ramgopal Varma categorically denied these allegations saying that he prepared a story on the lines of Paritala’s life history by doing lots of research on the lives of the factionists and it is nothing to do with the leader exclusively. The residents of Anantapur are up in arms against Ramgopal Varma and are planning to file case against the film demanding to halt the screening of the film.

Ramgopal Varma, however, is claiming that his career as director would take a sea change before and after the release of the film. With expectations running high, one had to wait and watch how Varma could thwart the attempts of the angry residents of Anantapur.
