Tollywood SHUT DOWN on 19th of the month

At last the final call was given as entire Telugu Film industry that is Tollywood will come to a shut down on 19th of the March that is day after tomorrow rendering the support to fight against Piracy. Entire Telugu film fraternity will conduct a big rally that will proceed towards Chief Minister Roshaiah’s office to submit a requisition for framing and implementing the strict piracy laws to curb the piracy in the state.

Film shootings, post production works, theatres will be closed down for one day that is 19th of the month. Till 19th, the fast-unto-death by Yalamanchi Ravichand will be continued. Tollywood big wigs are expecting a positive reply from state Government for their requisition, else artists and technicians have even warned for an indefinite bandh of Tollywood and the next plan of action will be decided only after bandh.

So, after forced Telangana bandhs this is for the first time that Tollywood has called for a voluntary bandh. Let us hope that something positive comes back from state Government against this draconian piracy saving Tollywood.
