Prabhas Is The Only South Star In Top 5

Young Rebel Star Prabhas' stardom sky-rocked ever since the sensation he created with his power packed performance and royal looks in Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali which elevated the standard of Indian cinema at the international level. 

According to the latest Rebel Star showed his super star power by becoming the one of the top five superstars in the country. In an annual poll conducted by India Today every year, this time in the 'Mood Of The Nation', Prabhas stood at the 5th place. Last year he was placed 7th. 

Salman Khan, Bollywood super star ruled the list with 11% votes while Khiladi Akshay kumar stood second. Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and Chocolate Boy Ranbir Kapoor together took 3rd spot while Big B Amitabh Bachchan got 4th place. In fact, Prabhas happens to be the first Tollywood star to achieve this feat and this time he is the only South Indian star to be placed in the top five. 

Among heroines, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Chopra shared the no 1 position with 8% votes to become the Female Superstar.
