Indraganti Mohana Krishna who is presently enjoying the success of his last film Sammohanam has made a shocking revelation that maverick director Ram Gopal Varma's rejection devastated him completely.

It is known that Indraganti stood No 1 in his Film Institute and he shot to fame with the short film Chali. RGV offered him a chance after liking his short film. They even completed a film in 2004. However RGV who invested in the short film was shocked with the output.

He called Indraganti and blasted him right and left accusing him of coming up with a very substandard content. RGV branded him as an unfit to film industry on his debut film itself. Indraganti said he worked hard for the short film for RGV's Trendsetter Company but he rejected it as he didn’t like it. Indraganti revealed that RGV's insults left him shellshocked and he went into depression for more than a month.

He said during that time his mother boosted his confidence convincing that RGV's style and his style is completely different and while RGV is known for mafia, thriller, faction stories, his style is different and obviously, he will not like them.

Indraganti said, “I have lot of respect for RGV. It is a honor to work with a star director like him. When a star director like him rejected my film, I felt devastated. But when I got national award, RGV called me personally and congratulated me. RGV's mindset is different from my mindset and our combination didn’t work. We don’t have any personal rivalry. We always converse in a friendly manner when we meet, but professionally our paths are different."
