Megastar Chiranjeevi has offered financial assistance of four lakhs to senior comedians Gundu Hanumantha Rao and Potti Veeriah. Gundu Hanumantha Rao is currently being treated for Kidney related disease and Megastar came to know about this through the television show Ali Tho Jolly ga. Chiranjeevi has called on MAA artiste association president Shivaji Raja and handed over two lakh cheque to Gundu Hanumantha Rao.

Within a span of 30 minutes, Shivaji Raja and other MAA members actor Suresh, Sri Ram, Suresh Kondeti went to Apollo hospital and handed over the cheque to Hanumantha Rao. Notwithstanding the help that Megastar provided, this senior comedian talked with him over phone and expressed his happiness.

In an equivalent way, another senior comedian Potti Veeriah’s health condition seemed unstable and Megastar’s wife Srimarhi Surekha came to know about this through newspaper and conveyed the message to her husband. Chiranjeevi immediately called Shivaji Raja and offered a cheque of Rs 2 lakh more to hand it over to senior comedian.

Speaking on the occasion, MAA president Shivaji Raja revealed the news of the financial assistance provided by mega star. He also informed that Chiranjeevi is willing to help all the artists who are in dire need and asked Shivaji Raja to let him know if anyone is in helpless situation at any point of time. Shivaji Raja also expressed his happiness over the generous helping hand.
