Baahubali Beats Evergreen Sholay

The epic visual grandeur Baahubali has shattered almost all the Indian records and became the first Indian film to cross Rs 1,000 Crores mark at Box Office. This gigantic success from creative genius SS Rajamouli made Indian cinema proud.

This was a theatrical spectacle received well across the world irrespective languages. In fact, the Hindi dubbed version has broken all earlier straight Hindi film records by giving a big shock to all Bollywood top stars.

Again North people have shocked entire Bollywood fraternity by making this Telugu dubbed Hindi film as best Hindi film so far. Into the details, recently a popular magazine cum news daily India Today made an online survey…which movie would you rate as the biggest hit in Hindi Cinema till date?

Yes, entire North India voted for Baahubali 2 in first place with 26% votes as evergreen hit film Sholay stood in second place with 9% voting (17% less than first) while Baahubali 1 stood in third place with 6% and Amir Khan’s Dangal in fourth place with 5% voting.  

This shows how Indian audience are receptive to cinema irrespective of language and admire the vision of a filmmaker who thinks global but remains rooted in local folklore culture. 

It is an open fact that Bollywood top celebrities are trying to beat Baahublai records and are hooked with this survey results. Saaho Telugu cinema and Saahore Baahubali!!!!
