Heroine Says NO To Sexual Favors!

Casting couch or to put in simple words, film makers expecting sexual favors from heroines for casting in their films is a controversial fact which runs business behind the screens in whole glamour industry. Like many heroines have commented on their personal experiences, here comes the talented and gorgeous Parvathy Menon.

Having worked with star heroes and top film makers, the Mallu babe says, producers expecting sexual favor in return from heroines has become common in Malayalam too.

‘There are many film makers in Malayalam expecting sex as a return favor from heroines after casting them in films. I feel, it may be their prerogative to do so but everything depends on the concerned actresses to say yes or no.

Personally, I dismissed such offers. I think, only established or frontline heroines are free from sexual harassment. Unfortunately, I encountered this practice more vaguely in Malayalam cinema rather than in Tamil, Kannada or other language films.

At times, similar sexual demands openly came from senior actors and directors. I avoided working with them again. I think, every heroine should develop the habit of rejecting such offers and only then they will grow high in profession,’ Parvathy said.
