Premam Dumps All Of Them!

Among all the five films released for this Dasara festival occasion viz. ‘Jaguar, Premam, Mana Oori Ramayanam, Abhinetri’ and ‘Eedu Gold Ehe,’ alone Naga Chaitanya film stood strong at Box Office dumping the remaining four in no time. As per the trade reports we received from all the available sources, ‘Premam’ is all set to create new records among Chaitu movies with super positive talk spreading all over.

‘Jaguar’ despite having a commercial storyline and massive budget on hand, director Mahadev and Vijayendra Prasad failed to launch Nikhil Gowda on a strong note. Although, movie opened to great revenues on first day, it gradually dropped from day 2. ‘Abhinetri’ is the next better movie to ‘Premam’ is seeing average crowds at ticket counters. Star value of Tamanna, Prabhu Deva is the only pulling factor for this mediocre horror comedy.

‘Mana Oori Ramayanam’ from Prakash Raj rated as honest remake attempt for Malayalam ‘Shutter’ ran into deficits from day 1. Same applies for Sunil’s ‘Eedu Gold Ehe’ which almost pushed his career down by many miles. Occupancy rate in theaters was known to be less than 20%, all time low for a Sunil movie. ‘Premam’ is clearly a Dasara winner with wide margin.
