National award-winning actor and director Prakash Raj is mulling the idea of launching his next bilingual film Pavanam o be produced under his Duet Movies banner. The versatile actor has completed phase I of his Kannada directorial venture Naanu Nanna Kanasu. But Pavanam (Journey) will be made in Tamil and Telugu wherein Prakash Raj is taking the lead himself. This Rs 11-crore flick will film a dramatic situation based on the hijack of an Indian Airlines aircraft  IC 814 from Nepal to Kandahar.Director Radha Mohan, who has directed Mozhi and Abhiyum Naanum will lead the team of Pavanam.

Prakash plays the part of a bureaucrat at the Prime Minister's office in Payanam. The director has done his bit of the research quite efficiently and handled the script. deftly.  ``I was inspired by the book Flight Into Fear by Captain Devi Sharan to make this movie," says Prakash Raj.Prakash Raj is a top actor today after his recent national award. However, he is in no hurry to sign Hindi films although he has performed a negative role recently in the Salman Khan-starrer Wanted directed by Prabhu Deva. He has been very choosy while accepting his roles right from his earlier days in the South.
