K, KV and GT Enjoying

Just before beginning of peak summer season with ‘Oopiri’ set for release in next week, there was ample time left for small films to test their Box Office worth. Unfortunately, last two to four weeks have been enough disappointing with none of the movies making a safe stand for at least one week at ticket counters. Except ‘Kshanam, Guntur Talkies’ and ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’ fared from average to above average; not even a single movie was appreciated by viewers.

For this week, we had a big bunch like past week and all of them have fallen like a pack of cards. ‘Drusya Kavyam, Kathakali’ stood significant in this week. While ‘Drusya Kavyam’ opened to weak response, ‘Kathakali’ is promising and weekend trade reports are yet to come out. On the other hand, ‘O Sthree Repu Raa, Thulasi Dalam’ and ‘Thuntari’ from last before week aren’t finding a trace. Despite Nara Rohit movie got average reports, Box Office revenues aren’t absorbing because of exams season.

With entry of ‘Run, Oopiri’ slated in this week, this could be end of road for all other weak films positioned in AP, TS. Then there are ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Sarrainodu’ to make Mega Fans go merry.
