Veerappan Stands Best in Worst!

This is going to be completely a dry week at Telugu Box Office. With ‘Nenu Shailaja’ enjoying the advantage of all those films released yesterday failing to gain any recognition, it’s all the way Ram to lead from front. However, there is a consolation for audience in the form of an alternative film ‘Killing Veerappan’ providing a bit of competition to ‘Nenu Shailaja,’ as there are some real die hard admirers for Ram Gopal Varma.

All the new releases like ‘Pakashala, Dil Raju Premalo Paddadu, Taskara, Kavvintha, O My God’ and ‘Veelaithe Premiddam’ failing miserably at ticket counters, alone ‘Killing Veerappan’ has got a face saving response from meager section of audience. This is although expected ever since original Kannada version got shaking Box Office revenues; in fact RGV failed to utilize the same positive momentum in Telugu.

Whatever the overall verdict may be, ‘Killing Veerappan’ stood as best among the worst films delivered by RGV in last few years. With zero promotions on the anvil, even Veerappan will also disappear from theaters in next week.
