Charmi Ready for 'Jyothi Lakshmi 2'

Much before the release of ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ on 12th of this month, heroine Charmi along with director Puri Jagannath and producer C Kalyan are thinking about starting a sequel for the same in the name of ‘Jyothi Lakshmi 2.’ This film is based on a novel ‘Mrs Parankusam’ written by Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy. Story deals with life of a prostitute and a love affair which changes everything for her.

‘Although, I play the prostitute there is no scope for vulgarity or obscene content in the film. It is a healthy entertainer. People won’t mind naming their daughters after the name of ‘Jyothi Lakshmi.’ Such will be the strength in my characterization,’ Charmi explained.

Puri Jagan is a brisk film maker. He thinks about next project while working on the present. ‘He got a new idea and developed into a script. One day he said, story and script for ‘Jyothi Lakshmi 2’ is ready. I was just shocked,’ Charmi said. Of course, everything depends upon how good the first part performs at BO.
