Why 'Vishwaroopam 2' Is Delaying?

The grand success and critical applause for 'Vishwaroopam' made Kamal Hasan to vie for a sequel in the name of 'Vishwaroopam 2.' Made with the same cast, crew as that of the first part, Kamal is done with post production long ago. Although the product is ready for release nearly 4 to 5 months ago, why is it Kamal Hasan could not make the proper arrangements?

When media asked Universal Star about the possible release time of 'Vishwaroopam 2,' the actor, producer and director revealed the real fact behind. 'Actually, it was me who is supposed to release the film at own risk. I made a mistake by passing over the release responsibility to another producer. This did not happen and I need to take over the same and release it on time before the product becomes stale and redundant,' Kamal answered.

As per Kamal, this 'Vishwaroopam 2' is not just a sequel but also a prequel. This part narrates the story of Wasim Ahmad Kashmiri and what his flashback is. Film ends with a line of, 'it's still not the end.' No second thoughts, Kamal had no intentions to go for 'Vishwaroopam 3.' So, the problem once again lies with in Kamal as he failed to find a right partner to associate with in releasing 'Vishwaroopam 2.' Hopefully, this will happen by end of the year.
