He seems to be roping in Ranbir Kapoor for the leading role in this Hindi movie to be titled Azan.Meanwhile, we hear Big Pictures, the arts and entertainment wing of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has contacted Mani Ratnam seeking the rights of his big budget film Raavana, which he was producing as a trilingual film.
According to insiders, Ratnam has finished shooting the film, being made under his home production, Madras Talkies.For reasons better known to Mani Ratnam, the deal with Reliance wing has been kept under a veil of secrecy. When asked, a close source of Mani Ratnam declined to reveal the details about Big Pictures' move to acquire the rights of Raavana. The film is likely to be released in February, 2010 .
