Deepika Padukone to be Saina Nehwal

Ace badminton player Saina Nehwal made Telugu people and entire India proud with her inspiring achievements in this field of sport. Now, a biopic of Saina is in the pipeline and none other than most talented film maker Mahesh Bhatt and his team is at work to complete the script work. In fact, Mahesh Bhatt has never met Saina Nehwal till this day but the idea to make a film on her life is already taken up. As per the preliminary information available, Deepika Padukone can be the best choice to portray on screen Saina.

‘I heard a lot on Saina and the passion she has towards game. As a film maker I am hugely inspired by this sportsperson. So, the talks and are on and I cannot divulge any details atthis point of time because it is too early. One of my friends in New Delhi has mooted this idea and I immediately agreed to do so,’ Mahesh Bhatt said. More coincidental is Deepika also comes from a family of badminton legacy which makes her easy to accept the character.
