There were many complaints from theatre owners and audience on missing of big films due to agitations in different parts of Andhra Pradesh. We had Pawan Kalyan, Junior NTR, Ramcharan, Nagarjuna, Ram’s movies put behind the burner with postponed release dates unable to bear the heat of these protests. While small and medium films with less of quality and more of adult content are ruling the market, industry people stood disappointed on when these times will change.

Luckily, ‘Toofan’ and ‘Zanjeer’ have come like a respite giving some confidence to other big producers. Now, it could be a blessing in disguise for producer BVSN Prasad who is hurried for release of ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ with the leakage episode. As most of the BO space is empty and theatres are vacant, there is no stopping for Power Star to arrive in maximum or say, highest number of screens ever in Telugu cinema. More than Fans and audience, theatre owners to cycle stand wallahs and black ticket sellers are to enjoy huge crowds turning out for ‘Atharintiki Daaredi.’
