Ever heard of classic director K.viswanath doing a humourous flick? Going by industry indications,the ace director has tied up with actor-comedian Allari Naresh.Over the years,the director made waves by making musical films like Sankarabharanam,Swathimuthyam,Siri Siri Muvva,Sruthi Layalau, Sagara Sangamam and drew nationwide media attention.Of late, he has been a busy actor doing character roles such as a Good Samaritan.However,his directorial association with Allari Naresh for a film titled ‘Sumadhuram’ has generated curious reactions from film critics fans of Naresh as well as the director.

Speculations are doing the rounds as to the nature of the theme,story-line etc after the slim, skinny and talented actor has been chosen as the protagonist for  Sumadhuram.However,the heroine has not been finalized as yet, it is learnt.Filmy sources said Viswanath had approached Sruthi Hassan to perform opposite Naresh. Despite father Kamal Hassan’s `go-ahead’ nod, Sruthi seems to have turned down the offer. Now, there are indications that Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor may be taking up the coveted role.However,the signal has not been confirmed as yet.If, all goes well, the shooting schedules for the film may take off in the beginning of 2010. Musical maestro Mani Sharma is composing the music for the film.
