Rama’s ‘mission in Lanka’ ready for release

None has kept a record of the times Indian epics were ridiculed in the films. Of course, they call all such satiric portrayal of Indian myths as parody. Lo, another in the pipeline is the Seetharamula Kalyanam…Lankalo!The film directed by Eshwar with lead-pair Nithin and Hansika is all set to hit the silver screens in Andhra Pradesh in the first week of December.The Welfare Creations banner film has a story scripted by Vikram Raj.  The film has kept its makers counting on the virtues of its curious storyline. 

 According to the director, who was not very outspoken at a press meet recently, the story is all about the hero Rama’s mission in Lanka which forms the ‘’crux of the story’’.Produce Vijay Prasad sees great potential in the interactions and scenes between the hero and the heroine. The film is likely to be a huge comedy fare with stalwarts like Brahmanandam, Ali, Venu Madhav, M S Narayana etc in the wings of humour!
